Anna Carreras (Barcelona, 1977) has a degree in Catalan language and literature. She is a writer and translator. Author of the novels Camisa de foc (Empúries, 2008), Tot serà blanc (Alexandre Ballester Prize, Lleonard Muntaner, 2008), Unes ales cap a on (A Contravent, 2011), Ombres franceses (El Cep i la Nansa, 2016), Fes-me la permanent (El Cep i la Nansa, 2016), Encén el llum (Labreu, 2017), Un francés a medianoche (Navona, 2017) and Camisa de foc. Versió 2018 (Navona, 2018), she combines the writing with the translation of Elena Ferrante’s work into Catalan.
